Newsletter No. 11- (13/01/02)

Hi again everybody. This week has been a very hectic week for me. Firstly the virus that we were nearly all aware of finally took a severe grip on my PC and shut it down completely. This resulted in a frantic attempt to salvage valuable data from DOS, mostly without success. I did manage to save some stuff only to find that the floppy disk that I had chosen to save it to was damaged. (Brand new disk as well, so check them out before you use them is the moral to that one!) Anyway, as I am sometimes a little lax when it comes to backing up data, I have lost my entire telephone database from my system. So, will anyone who reads this please send me an e-mail with your details, telephone number & address please so that I can start again.

Some good news on the web-site. Mr Moss (Headmaster at the schooll in case you didn't know) has asked to see me to help with the format of the new site. He wants to form some sort of liason with the school and their official site. hence the new link to their site on the front page. The roll-call of teachers planning to attend the reunion also looks good. Mr Hackett who I am sure you all remember is planning to attend in his official capacity as the Lord Mayor Of Preston. Mr Chattington, Mr Lamb, Mrs Harrop, Mrs Hodges, Mr Brook, and I believe Mr Gillingham, Mr Carr and Miss Firth are also intending to be there. The most teachers present at a reunion so far has been 14 so we are well on the way to matching that.

That's it for todauy folks and keep those e-mails coming.
