Hello again everybody.
I know, It's a very long time since I posted a newsletter fo you. The problem is, I don't get any news from you the readers to send out to anyone! An e-mail from my friend at the Blackpool Grammar School site, Martin Wilson, sent me some information he got from a recent edition of the Montgomery School Newsletter, published regularly by the school. In the magazine it speaks of the forthcoming retirement of a longstanding teacher at the school, Mrs Baxter. According to the article, she has been a teacher at the school for 30 years. An outstanding achievement, especially in this day and age where loyalty is at a premium. I'm sure you will join all her past students and the school staff in wishing her all the best for the future.
Also moving on after 8 happy years at Montgomery is Mr George Kulbaki. The search engine on this web-site suggests that he was a very popular teacher and will, I'm sure be sadly missed and fondly remembered. Mrs Fenton is also leaving the English department, again after 8 happy years. We wish them all the very best for the future.
Martin suggested that the school could send me a copy of the magazine on a regular basis so I could pass any news on to you. I contacted the school and they agreed to do that. So, from now on, there will be more regular updates for you.
In the meantime, let's get those numbers on the increase again. Get your friends to register.
