I left Monty, went to the sixth form college for about 5 mins then became a cadet nurse at Victoria Hospital and then after training as a nurse and midwife I went out to work in Zambia where I met my second husband Jacques who is obviously French.
We moved to France and we've been living here for almost 23 years in a village in the Beaujolais area near to Lyon. We have 2 boys Jeremy 19 and Sebastien 23 who are still living at home and costing us a fortune in food consumption!! I'm working as a part time English teacher in an infants and junior school and I really love it. I had to learn to speak French which was an uphill struggle but I've cracked it now...............(Webmasters note - if you have heard her you will know that is soooooooooooo not true!!!)
Thanks to Dave Ambler and his hard work over the last 5 years, through the web site and the reunione I've found some of my old school friends that I'd lost, now we are back together and enjoying meeting up and writing.I'm sure many others have had the same experience as me and in't it good?
Looking forward to the BIG reunion next year, it's a really great idea - come one and all.
