Since leaving school I have held several jobs, from Taxi driver to engineer, before settling for a career in sales.
Poor health forced me into an early retirement in 1997 when I decided to study for a BSc in Computing & Psychology at the University of Central Lancashire. A kidney transplant last January put a temporary halt to that and I'm now reconsidering my future with new enthusiasm! I got married in 1977 to Pauline Halstead (also a Monty pupil - from two years below us, see 4th girl
from left on her home page under 1968 year group.) In 1984 we had a
little baby girl, Tracy, who eventually turned into very caring nursery nurse. (from a 17 year old monster) Enjoyed seeing many old friends at the reunion in 2002 and many times since.. I've now gone back to working full time at the Department For Work & Pensions. (I tell everyone I'm working for the Governemtnt) For those who know me, fancy that eh? Me a civil servant - You'd never believe it would you????
Currently trying to organise a 50th reunion for the school and crying out for help!
