Hi again everybody. I don't know if anyone would remember the school secretary from their days at Montgomery, but apparently , Mrs Betty Deane was a very long serving member of the staff, 1966-1993 in fact. Anyway after a few hints from her daughter Rosamund, I have finally sent her an invitation to our reunion in May. She was most pleased to hear from us and is greatly looking forward to the event.

Karen Maryon (nee Jones) has volunteered a case of beer for a raffle prize at the reunion. That has prompted me to ask if there are any businessmen or women out there with Montgomery connections who would also like to donate a small prize for a raffle (for a mention on the web-site of course)

Tickets for the reunion are now at the printers and will be distributed to the guests in due course. The total number of guests at the moment stands at 78, not quite the number I expected but still, enough to make the evening a success I hope. .

There has only been one new member registered on the web-site this week so I have been sat here twiddling my thumbs. Anyway, I am sure it will pick up again.
