Hi to everyone who remembers me (class 1962). Such along time ago. I left at 15 without any qualifications to work at Rawcliffe's as a shop assistant. From there I got a job as a junior clerk at Blackpool Borough Council. I suppose from that point on I began my second education. I was promoted into the legal section where for some years I trained as a legal executive. Promotions took place when I worked for Preston and Fylde Councils. I gained a Law Degree and took solicitors final exams, passed with a commendation and became a practising solicitor. I am presently employed at the Land Registry as a Lawyer and will be semi-retiring later this year. I have been married to Janet for 31 years. My daughter, Christina also attended Montgomery, went onto Lancaster University & is now a qualified .social worker. I still enjoy sports & played tennis for many decades but I am now trying to concentrate on golf ! I still live in the area but have moved just a few miles away to Thornton.
